Tak Highway District 1 is responsible for the following:

- Maintaining and servicing highways to ensure their stability, strength, and compliance with standards.

- Providing convenience and safety for road users.

- Enforcing highway laws.

- Operating under international cooperation and integrating with other government agencies,

local administrative organizations, private organizations, and the public.

- Providing convenient rest areas for the public.

Tak Highway District 1 is subdivided into 7 highway maintenance sections:

2. Mae Tho Highway Maintenance Section

3. Wang Prachop Highway Maintenance Section

4. Mae Salid Highway Maintenance Section

5. Thong Fa Highway Maintenance Section
